Making music helps me feel healthy and happy. The more music I make, the healthier and happier I feel. I enjoy making music by myself. I enjoy making music even more than that when other musicians are playing with me. I enjoy making music even more than that when I realize that the music I am making touches someone's heart and mind in a good way. When I started making this website on October 28 2022, its purpose was to use it for publishing MP3 copies of my studio recordings to share with friends. The recordings are sounding better than I expected. The number of views reported for this website is 90,050, on May 30, 2023, which is far more than I expected. That is giving me hope of, someday, being able to make enough money with music to afford the time I would like to have to write songs, to practice singing, to practiice playing musical instruments, to play gigs, and to perform at concerts.
There have been two 12 year periods when I was constantly performing music in restaraunts, bars, dance halls, churches, coffee shops, wineries, country clubs, city parks, schools, gymnasiums, stadiums, auditorims, conventions centers, an amphitheater, a movie location, tourists attractions, weddings, funerals, parties, festivals, picnics, radio & TV commercials, theater productions, holiday celebrations, and campfire sings. I have, also, enjoyed being a teacher of physical education and history, and coach of sports for just as many years. While I was teaching and coaching, I did not have as much time as I would like to have for making music. It has been about 11 years since I have performed music in public. I am hoping to get things organized enough to start performing music in public, again, by May 2024.
