Trip to Bahai de Kino in Sonoro, Mexico

I was almost 5 years old, during mid-winter break of 1966-1967. Forty junior high students loaded onto the “SS Yellar Goose,” and we drove to Bahai de Kino in Sonoro, Mexico. We spent a week there staying in cottages, and hanging out on the beach. We took a boat ride across the bay. There was a whale who was, obviously, a friend of the skipper of the boat. The whale jumped out of the water in a playful way several times as it swam beside the boat.
